Another fairytale??

I was asked "would you marry for money?'  I responded "Not unless he was ALSO my soulmate."  Afterwards I asked myself "what is a soulmate ANYWAY?"  Is there REALLY even such a thing or was it all made up, only a 'fairytale'???
